Covid-19 Policy For Indoor Services

FAITH ASSEMBLY COVID-19 POLICY

Here are some steps to remember for us all to be wise and safe during our reopening phase. One reminder, there will be no Nursery or Children’s Ministry (0-5th grade). The Faith Café will be available for families with children, where we will provide a coloring activity or craft. There will be a TV in the Faith Café for the parents to watch and listen to the Service, while the children enjoy their activity.

Set-up

  • Per the City of Rock Hill, face coverings are required for indoors.
  • If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19,  please stay home and enjoy the Service online.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available as you enter the Sanctuary.
  • Please enter the Sanctuary as a family group, as this will assist the ushers in seating you.
  • For the health and safety of everyone, we will be checking temperatures as you enter the Sanctuary.

Look-up

  • During Worship look up to God and look out for others in love.
  • Elbow and fist bumps are encouraged.
  • We encourage you to stay in your seats as much as possible.

Wrap-up

  • Please be considerate of social distancing as you are exiting the Sanctuary.
  • We are here to pray for you after Service up front at the altar.
  • When it is possible, please feel free to fellowship outside of the building.

See You At The Pole

Next Wednesday is “See You At The Pole”! We will be participating with other churches here in York County by opening up our campuses to pray. Our church has been assigned York Comprehensive High School and Castle Heights Middle School.

I encourage you to come and pray. I will also have a Zoom link for those who cannot make it. We will meet at 7:30am on Wednesday, September 23rd, at the Pavilion. I’ll be talking more about this in the next week.

Campus Awareness Day

Sunday, September 20, 2020 is Campus Awareness Day in the Assemblies of God. By this day, virtually or in person, almost 24,000 middle and high schools will have opened and students will have gone back to school. September 20 is also the Sunday before the national See You at the Pole prayer event that takes place at thousands of campuses nationwide. On this special awareness Sunday, churches across the United States have an opportunity to pray for and are encouraged to connect with the campuses in their community.

Will you join us in lifting up our Nation’s students, school, and school faculty and staff?
